It can be confusing what a museum wrap looks like and what the difference is between a museum wrap and a gallery wrap. However, the difference is quite simple.
Gallery Wrap
A gallery wrap extends the printed artwork to the sides of the canvas. So, all sides of the canvas are fully covered with printed image.
Museum Wrap
Unlike a gallery wrap, a museum wrap has printed artwork only on the front. In a museum wrap, sides are usually white or black, but can be colored to any color.
So, the difference between a gallery and a museum wrap is the printed image which extended to the sides of the canvas.
